Getting Involved @ ACE Space

There are plenty of ways for people to get involved at ACE Space.

Whether you’re a performer, a class or event organiser or a volunteer looking for an outlet, we would love to hear from you.

As a charity organisation, we’re always looking to raise funds through hirings, events, donations and grant applications. If you are at all interested in supporting us in this way, please contact us.

Perform

ACE Space endeavours to have as diverse a programme as possible. We’ve been lucky enough to host established musical talent (Steve Knightley), legendary writers (Steve Crawshaw) and future comedy stars (probably also named Steve). Our staging is flexible and can accommodate a wide variety of performers.

The easiest way to get in front of a buzzing crowd at ACE Space is to sign up for Unplugged, our monthly open mic night.

If you know of (or are!) an act that needs to be seen/heard in Newbury, contact us or drop us a line at events@acespace.org.uk.

Volunteer

ACE Space is a registered charity, run by an informal committee and headed by a small group of trustees. Everyone from our Bar Staff to our Chairperson is a volunteer. As such, we’re always on the lookout for helpful people to dedicate whatever time they can spare. DIY-ers, sound techs, stewards, bar staff and so forth.

We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to be involved so please do contact us or give us a call on 07905 590214.

We are very keen to hear from you if you are interested in supporting us in any way, whether through advice, hands-on work and/or for using the hall for community, social, arts and business activities.
